Elstree Travelodge, Borehamwood

The Travelodge Borehamwood is located in the popular town of Borehamwood right by the southern end and close to the slip road for the A1 dual carriageway. This is a major road which links central London with the north of England. Also it links with the M25 motorway at South Mimms just over 2 miles away. The M25 is greater London's orbital motorway and provides excellent road links to all 4 major international airports at Heathrow (M4), Gatwick (M23), Luton (M1) and Stansted (M11). Borehamwood is a thriving residential town of some 30,000 residents.

Its home to a busy high street with a range of shops and amenities, retail parks and a large number of international companies with offices here. This area has strong film and TV links with several studios in the surrounding areas including the Millennium Studios just 0.2 miles away.

Half a mile along Elstree Way is the Venue Leisure Centre which incorporates a Fitness Studio, Dance Studio, and Health Suite. Just over a mile along the same road (Shenley Road at this point) is the Borehamwood Shopping Park which is home to a number of large high street stores. The Travelodge i right next to a BP petrol station which also has a small grocery section and an onsite coffee bar.
